Nicole Kidman to star in romantic comedy `Monte Carlo`
Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman will produce and star in the romantic comedy "Monte Carlo," the US entertainment press reported Tuesday.
Kidman, 40, plays one member of a trio of school teachers on holiday who cut short their no-frills sojourn in Paris and head to Monte Carlo, where they pose as wealthy vacationers.
The Australian film star, who was awarded a best actress Oscar in 2002 for her role as Virginia Woolf in the acclaimed film "The Hours," ranks among Hollywood`s best paid actresses, earning about 20 million dollars per film.
Her new project, which is based on the novel "Headhunters" by Jules Bass, will be directed by Tom Bezucha, who also is co-writing the script, along with screenwriter Maria Maggenti.
